Steps to make when you apply for a job

It depends whether you want to apply online or you drop off your CV to different companies.

When you apply online you need to make sure that your phone has Microsoft word because you will have to edit your curriculum vitae in every position you will be applying for. Your qualifications needs to be certified together with your identity document/drivers license depending on the position you will be applying for, since different companies do different things.  After you have done doing those tasks, scan your documents in pdf in your phone and send them to your email so that you access the documents easily whenever you need them. For example if you lose your phone or it gets damaged you can use someone’s phone to access your documents from your email, no excuses and you would find that the job you want to apply for is closing soon so you don’t want to lose that opportunity.

Now that you have the documents that you need, you go straight to the internet, on the search bar you mention the job that you would like to apply for. Different companies will appear, you have to go through all of them. Let’s say I’m searching “customer service” or “Administrator” most of them they normally want the experience. Someone will say, “how can they want experience, how can we find experience because we are the newbie’s straight from the university?” That’s when you need to be specific when you search because if you do not have experience on the search bar it will be Administrator internships, that is where they give you the experience you would like to have, they normally take 18 months. Some companies you after with email others you have to apply online by filling out your personal information. When applying with an email this is what you can mention: the subject line is normally the reference number.  The first sentence you will say: Good day Sir/Madam 

I hope this email finds you well. My name is Mpumelelo Ramokgadi, I have applied for Administration job. I have attached my curriculum vitae, qualifications and motivational letter

I hope my application will be successful

My Personality, I have a warm welcoming personality that allows people to gain trust in me and relax around me, this means your clients will be received by a warm welcome which builds trust between the client and company is an essential ability to possess.

2. Not only am I a hard worker, but a smart worker too, one of my qualities is that I possess the ability to think of innovative ways to perform tasks, this means I will be a good assert to the company because not only will I be doing my job, but I will bring fresh ideas whenever a gap appears.

3. I am a learner, by this; I mean I am not afraid to educate myself on the new things that may help me grow not only as an individual but also as a team member to help the company grow as well.

NB: Do not apply for the job you don’t qualify for, always check if the requirements matches your experience or qualification
